How is AI Telling Your Story?
Today, AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and others are often the first place customers, partners, investors, and even journalists go to learn about your company. But here's the thing: most teams don't know how to influence what these systems are saying. This creates a real challenge, as your carefully crafted traditional public relations and organizational messages might not be making it to your audience.

  • We shine light on how to align your communications programs with these sources for consistent, effective AI message sourcing.

Why LLM Visibility Matters Now
34%
Rapid AI Adoption Demands Proactive PR
Weekly generative AI use has nearly doubled in just one year (from 18% to 34%), growing three times faster than early internet adoption. For PR, this means audiences are increasingly seeking information via AI, making LLM visibility critical for brand perception and narrative control. (Reuters Institute 2025)
54%
AI Search Answers Shape Public Opinion
Over half of consumers (54%) now encounter AI-generated search answers weekly, eclipsing direct use of AI tools. PR professionals must now ensure their clients' stories and brand messages are accurately represented in these AI summaries, which directly impact reputation and media strategy. (Reuters Institute 2025)
24%
AI Becomes Primary Info Source
The use of AI for seeking information has more than doubled (from 11% to 24%), now surpassing media creation as its primary function. For PR, this trend underscores the urgent need to manage narratives within LLMs, as AI becomes a dominant, unfiltered source of information for stakeholders. (Reuters Institute 2025)

Case Study: Large Energy Utility
The Challenge
A large utility needed to understand how large language models answered customer questions about energy affordability and reliability and which sources were shaping those responses. They were hearing from customers who were turning to AI tools for quick explanations about their bills, programs, outages, and basic service questions. The company had no clear view into what information those tools were using or whether the answers reflected their current messaging, programs, or updates. They also suspected that older news articles, community conversations, outdated wikipedia pages and unaffiliated blogs might be influencing the way their presence appeared, but they had no way to confirm it. They needed a clear picture of their footprint inside AI-driven search and practical guidance on how to strengthen it.
Approach
Developed real-world customer queries tracked LLM responses across multiple weeks
Findings
Local news, earned and paid media placements, Reddit threads, Facebook groups, video and specific company blog posts had greatest influence on LLM responses. Identified gaps where updated content could improve accuracy such as video curated for specific high-reach channels such as press releases, company blog and Reddit. Also identified the need to update Wikipedia.
Impact
Delivered strategic recommendations for 2025 communications roadmap connecting PR, content, media outreach, and website updates to channels influencing LLM visibility. Strengthened content pipeline and high-impact outlet focus.

Blog #1: 5 Reasons Why I Started inAI
1. I Saw a Shift in How People Search
More people are asking questions through AI tools, and the answers they receive are shaping first impressions long before anyone visits a website or reads an article. Communications teams are still focused on media, content, and digital channels, but there is now another layer influencing how people understand an organization. I wanted to help companies see that layer clearly and understand what they can do to strengthen it.
2. AI Pulls From Sources Most Companies Ignore
In my latest visibility audit, some of the strongest signals did not come from major news outlets. They came from local publications, community blogs, niche trade sites, and old forum threads. Even comments in neighborhood groups surfaced. These sources carry more weight than most leaders expect. If you are not looking at them, you are missing part of your public story.
3. Content Gaps Get Filled by Whatever AI Can Find
When a company’s website is incomplete, outdated, or too general, the tools fill the gaps with whatever is available. Sometimes the information is accurate, but often it comes from places the company is not watching. Clear, updated, and direct content gives the system better material to use. I saw this repeatedly and it changed the way the client thought about their own messaging.
4. Community Conversations Shape Reputation
Local dialogue matters. Reddit threads, Facebook groups, and community forums appeared in more responses than expected. These conversations are smaller and more scattered, but together they create themes that show up in answers people receive. Reputation is not shaped by one big headline. It is built through many small and consistent voices.
5. Leaders Want to Influence These Answers
Over the past year, more clients have come to me asking how AI is describing them and how they can have a stronger hand in shaping the information people see. Working with trusted reputation partners and advanced tools, I built this company to help. My work gives organizations a clear view of how they appear inside AI-driven search and practical steps to strengthen the story forming around their work.
The goal is simple. Companies deserve to know how they are being represented when people search for answers, and they should have a clear way to influence that story. This work gives leaders the visibility they need and a path to strengthen the information that shapes how they are understood. The landscape has changed and it will keep changing. The companies who stay aware of how they appear inside these new systems will be the ones who stay ahead.
